If my love for you was daffodils
I'd throw them in the sky
We'd lay and watch the clouds pass by
Holding hands together
If my love for you was a picture
I'd paint you a little cottage
With roses climbing up the walls
And stones making a path
If my love for you was a symphony
It would be a day in spring
The woodwinds would dance quickly
And the trumpets would call us home
If I could feed you dinner
It would be cream of celery
And cucumber sandwiches
And asparagus tomato quiche
If I could lay with you in eternity
We'd talk about the things we did
The times we thought we'd never get through
Yet we did, somehow
A life is a beautiful thing to have
You enjoy it until it's gone
And when it's over you celebrate
Because yours was a good one
In Jesus' Name,
Amen
