"Prayer"
If the soul is eternal then it should be immortal
Something that cannot be bought nor destroyed
Didn't God leave us with something to hope for
Didn't he leave us an answer
With nothing to go forward with, all is lost
I look at you with a blank thoughtfulness
What to do with what is left
Where does one go from here
There must be an immortal soul because
The heart is full of love
I believe I will go to heaven one day
Because I deserve to
After all the suffering, rest
And I Pray for those that deny that
Rest and peace belong to everyone
Everyone deserves to rest after a long day
Oh torment that was in this life
Be washed clean with the morning light
It is till then I make my pilgrimage
Only until then
